Airport & surroundings

EuroAirport, Basel and excursions.

Is the hotel close to EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse?
Yes — the hotel is 5km from EuroAirport (BSL/MLH), about 10 minutes by car, with free parking on site. It's the handy address the night before an early flight or after a late one.
Is the hotel well placed for visiting Europa-Park?
Europa-Park (Rust, Germany) — Germany's largest theme park, awarded “world's best park” more than ten times at the Golden Ticket Awards — is about an hour's drive via the A5. If you land at EuroAirport, sleep here, 10 minutes from the airport, and reach the park well rested the next morning: it's often much better value than a night at the park's own hotels, and the motorway runs straight there.
Can I visit Basel while sleeping on the French side?
Yes. Central Basel is 15 minutes by car — or park at Saint-Louis station (6 minutes) and take the train, just 7 minutes to Basel. You get the city by day and sleep on the French side, where rooms cost noticeably less.
What excursions can I do from the hotel?
Basel and its museums (15 min), the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein (9 min), La Petite Camargue Alsacienne on foot (1km), Colmar and the Alsace wine route (about 45 min), Freiburg im Breisgau and the Black Forest (about 45 min), Europa-Park (about 1 hour). The hotel makes a good base for exploring all three countries.
Your stay

On site, in practice.

Is parking free? Are there electric charging points?
Yes, hotel parking is free for guests, with electric charging points. To leave your car while you fly, contact reception before your stay.
My flight leaves early: can I still have breakfast?
The buffet is served every day from 7am to 11am. Outside these hours, no breakfast service is available.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, on request (a supplement applies per stay) — let us know when booking. La Petite Camargue Alsacienne, 1km away, is ideal for walks.
I'm cycling the EuroVelo 6 or 15 — what's available for me?
Both cycle routes pass just metres from the hotel. Secure bike storage, breakfast buffet from 7am to 11am, and a 24/7 key dispenser.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 3 p.m., check-out by 11 a.m. Reception is open until 11 p.m. — if no one is there, call +33 9 61 06 18 74. Outside these hours, the self-service key dispenser remains available 24/7: so you can arrive at any hour, and leave before reception opens since your stay is paid on arrival.
Can I arrive late in the evening or during the night?
Yes. Reception is open until 11 p.m. (if no one is there, call +33 9 61 06 18 74). Beyond that, the self-service key dispenser, available 24/7, lets you check in independently: you collect your key and go up to your room whenever suits you, even after a late flight into EuroAirport.
How do I get the best price?
Book direct on this site, which guarantees the best price (for example, in July 2026: a classic double from €74.80 on the prepaid rate, versus €84 on Booking.com). If you find a lower price online for the same dates, just let reception know.
Can we come as a family?
Yes, children are welcome. We have family rooms and interconnecting rooms (twin beds) available on request, in a quiet setting. Please note: we don't have cots or extra beds — each guest needs to use one of the room's existing beds.
Do you offer long-stay or business rates?
Yes — an extended-stay discount on request, invoicing in your company's name, free Wi-Fi and a desk in every room. Basel and the Saint-Louis/Huningue area are just minutes away; Saint-Louis station (7-minute train to Basel) is 6 minutes away. Contact reception with your dates.
Can I leave my car during my trip (Park, Sleep & Fly)?
Yes, by prior arrangement: sleep at the hotel the night before your flight, leave your car in our free car park while you travel and pick it up on your return. Contact reception before your stay to arrange this.
Is breakfast included? How much does it cost?
Breakfast is not included in the room rate. It costs €12 per person per day, and €8 for children under 12. The buffet is served every day from 7:00 to 11:00 and is paid for at the hotel.
Can I get to Basel by bus from the hotel?

Yes, with no change of bus. Distribus line 603 links Village-Neuf to central Basel via Huningue and the border. The nearest stop it serves is Village-Neuf Centre, about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The bus ride into central Basel takes around 15 minutes — allow roughly 30 minutes in total from the hotel door.

Buses run Monday to Saturday, roughly every 30 minutes at peak times and hourly in the middle of the day. The first departure towards Basel is shortly before 6:00, the last return from Basel around 20:30. Current timetables and tickets at distribus.com.

If you would rather not walk, the Ritty stop is a couple of minutes from the hotel: take line 2 to Village-Neuf Centre, then the 603 to Basel. Allow around 50 minutes including the connection.

You can also leave the car at the hotel free of charge and take the train from Saint-Louis station, a 6-minute drive away — Basel is then 7 minutes by rail.
